I met my wife, Kimberly, while we were both in graduate school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Our shared ambition, faith, and love for life’s big and small moments have carried us through decades of marriage, raising our three daughters — Maggie, Abbie, and Callie — and building a life grounded in service to others.
In 2001, I took a leap of faith and started my own practice. It wasn’t the easiest path, but it was the right one. I believed then, and still believe now, that helping people make wise financial decisions is one of the most meaningful ways to change lives for the better.

As both a licensed financial advisor and a CPA, I bring a unique depth of knowledge to my work. But more than that, I have a teacher’s heart. Consulting is one of my greatest gifts, and I do my best to explain financial strategies in a way that invites clients to understand and not just follow, the advice I give.
I don’t solely advise people what to do. I want them to know why it matters. I believe when people understand the “why,” they move forward with real confidence, and that’s when lasting change happens.
Above all, I always strive to act in the best interest of the people I serve. While some advisors are driven by personal gain, my goal has always been clear: to guide, teach, and recommend what truly benefits my clients.
Whether I’m helping a young family establish their first financial plan, guiding a business owner through legacy planning, or supporting a widow navigating life after loss, my passion is the same: to walk alongside people, offering clarity, confidence, and care.
Financial planning started as my profession, but with decades of experience, I’ve learned it’s my calling. My greatest reward is seeing my clients take courageous steps toward better futures, both personally and financially.
